Iranians Boast of their Akin!

Is seems a bit strange. But is is true. Any foreigner enetring into the Iranian society, inside the country of Iran or outside their own borders, among the expatriates or emigratnts, notices a claim by the majority of the members of this community. They say, and believe in what they say, that they are the true and intact descendants and offsprings of Cyrus the Great. The strangest apsect of this claim resides in Azerbayjan, Kurdistan, and even some Arab regions. While a visitor to the Iranian communities can easily distinguish on their faces and stature the features of myriad races and tribes who have long mixed and assimilated into this nation, and nearly all the Iranians carry complexions which they have inherited from their parents which have rendered them to look more like Moguls, Arabs, Indians, Russians, Europeans, etc. than Cyrus the Great and the Pasargdans, this calim looks like a kind of mere racist tethering. Kurds, and Arabs, especially, used to live in the region long before Persians. How intrepid Iranians should be to squeeze themselves into the die of Cyrus and to stick to his legends to gain some probable glory which they find afar from their accession! Alas!
